Background

Experience built around property, family, and business.

Since his admission to The Florida Bar in 1998, Rubén has concentrated his practice on real estate transactions, estate planning, probate, and corporate work. He has completed more than 7,500 real estate closings, created more than 2,000 estate plans, and handled more than 100 probate matters.

His real estate experience includes residential and commercial closings, title work, and coordination with national and regional lenders, brokers, and other transaction parties. In estate planning, he works with families, property owners, and foreign nationals who own U.S. assets, coordinating with accountants when tax issues overlap.

In corporate matters, he assists with entity formation, real estate holding companies, governance documents, contract and lease review, and purchases or sales of business assets. Before establishing his practice, he served as in-house counsel and closing-agent supervisor at Hemisphere Title Company, Regional Marketing Manager at GMAC Mortgage, and Legislative Counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives.
